Spring Vacation in the Parks - 121001

Spring Vacation in the Parks at Colonial Oaks Park fills your child's day with fun! Our caring, attentive staff provides recreational opportunities including games, sports, arts & crafts, nature activities and much more. This program is available in morning and afternoon sessions. A supervised lunch period is offered for children attending both daily sessions. Parents should provide a snack and beverage and for children attending both sessions, parents should provide lunch. This activity includes all morning and afternoon sessions available, a total of 10 sessions, at a discounted rate. You may also register your child for individual morning and/or afternoon sessions.

Program Guidelines:
-Attendance is taken regularly and the sign-in and sign-out system is essential to maintaining a secure environment for your children.
-Photo Identification is required to sign-out your child(ren).
-All people designated as authorized to pick-up your child(ren) must be included during the registration process.
Attire:
-Please provide your children with the proper attire. Closed toe shoes are required.
Personal Items:
-Children should not bring any personal items to camp. Staff is not responsible for personal items.
Camp Rules and Discipline:
-Be respectful toward campers and staff
-Follow directions
-No fighting
-No foul language
-No sexually suggestive language or behavior
-No stealing
-No cell phone use
-No weapons of any kind
-No smoking or drug use
A Three-Strike System for misbehavior will be used.
-First Strike: warning
-Second Strike: temporary suspension from the program
-Third Strike: Permanent removal from the camp (No refund will be given)

Operating Procedures:
Minimum Enrollment is required for all camp programs. We do not pro-rate session fees.
Staff to camper ratio is less than 1:20. Children may be dropped off beginning at 7:30 a.m., when staff begins their work day. All children must be picked up by 5:30 p.m.
Late Fees:
A late fee will be charged when children are picked up late from camp. The fee will be $10 for the first 15 minutes and $1 for each minute thereafter.
Refund Policy:
There are no refunds given for Spring Vacation Camp Sessions after March 1. Refunds requested before this date will be charged a $25 administrative processing fee.

Spring Vacation in the Parks - 121002

Spring Vacation at Oak Park School provides recreational opportunities for school aged individuals with developmental delays and physical challenges. Activities during the week include sports, games, arts and crafts, creative playtime and special events. This program is available in morning and afternoon sessions. A supervised lunch period is offered for children attending both daily sessions. Parents should provide a snack and beverage and for children attending both sessions, parents should provide lunch. This activity includes all morning and afternoon sessions available, a total of 10 sessions, at a discounted rate. You may also register your child for individual morning and/or afternoon sessions.

A parent or guardian must provide all personal care items for their child(ren) such as change of clothes, bibs, diapers, and wipes. Be sure that there are enough personal care items to get through a full day.

Specific camp questions can be addressed to Nancy Raney, who can be reached at 941-412-0402. The ratio will be one instructor to three participants. Transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the parents. Please complete the assessment/medical dispensation form that allows staff to adequately group the participants and plan activities accordingly.
